Size:: This keepsake measures 5/16"w x 1 1/2"h. The keepsake is measured from the bottom of the pendant to the bottom of the bail.

Material:: This keepsake is made of stainless steel and has a black plating.

Internal Volume:: This keepsake will hold a "pinch" of cremated remains. A "pinch" is equal to approximately 1/8 of a teaspoon.

How to fill:: This keepsake is filled by unscrewing the bail at the top. This exposes the small interior compartment where the remains are laid to rest.

Personalization Options:: This keepsake can be engraved on the back.

The cylinder was appropriate for the intended use. My wife had purchased the Lord's Prayer Cremains Pendant and there wasn't any space to place the ashes into the pendant. Once the screw was removed from the bottom, the amount of space was extremely limited. Getting a bit more of the ashes into the space would have been desired and as such were very dissatisfied with that one. For the cylinder, I had purchased the upgrade for the chain. If what I received was an upgrade, I don't believe that I would have wanted to see what was the standard supply. Extremely thin. It is like they don't want anyone to wear these!!!!

This pendant is for my son. He thought he would like it, and was very pleased once he had it in hand. Coincidentally, it matches two other pieces of jewelry he already possesses. The whole process, ordering, pricing, shipping, and acquisition, has been great.

Although it was no one's fault, the engraving on my keepsake was very hard to read. I was not expecting customer service to be able to do anything, but without hesitation the rep offered to send me an alternative that would hopefully better meet my expectations.. all at no extra charge. I was stunned and very happy with their solution.

I am so excited to have received this! It is beautiful! And if I recall correctly it arrived earlier than the estimated time! This particular piece is for my husband, his brother recently passed away, I already have one, and it really does give me peace of mind :)

The photo shows a slightly lighter shade of black in contrast to the dark band on the bottom. In person, you can barely see the difference. With that said, the item is beautiful! My husband was speechless. It was not easy to pick or find just the right one online, but when it came in, I was very very happy. Engraving was nicely done - shipping was stellar fast!! I got the two day air because of my own late ordering and was shocked how fast it was sent. Thank you to Jewelry Keepsakes. I'll be ordering again. :)

Beautiful quality but the chain broke

The cylinder is beautiful and appears to be good quality. The engraving on this piece is very subtle (not well visible). We don't mind that as my husband had it engraved for himself, not really for others to see or comment on. We only received it a few days ago but the clasp of the chain (20in premium black matching chain) already broke. The customer service is excellent though and they will be refunding us for the chain.
