At Jewelry Keepakes Inc., we realize that sometimes purchases are not a good fit for one reason or another. We understand that returns and exchanges are part of finding that keepsake you love, and we want to help make that process as easy and stress-free as possible for you. Please see our in-depth return policy below, and as always, reach out with any questions

Our Return Policy

Jewelry Keepsakes accepts returns on all purchases unless otherwise noted below for 30 days after the date of purchase. Your item will be returned for the full purchase price minus the cost of shipping the item to you. Return shipping to Jewelry Keepsakes is the responsibility of the customer.

We accept returns for up to 30 days past the date of purchase.

Return Credit

We will return the transaction amount minus shipping costs to the original form of payment. If that form of payment is no longer available, we will issue a store credit for the amount of the return.

Purchases made on a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express will be credited back to their original payment method.

Purchases made through PayPal will be credited to the account holder's account.

Purchases made through Affirm will be credited to the account holder's account.

Option for Exchange

We are happy to exchange your returnable item for another item from our website. We will send the new item out for items of lesser value and credit the original payment method for the price difference. We will issue a store credit for the price difference if the original payment method is unavailable.

We will apply the returnable item credit towards the purchase price for items of greater value. The customer will be responsible for the difference in cost between the item they are exchanging and the new item of greater value.

Non Returnable Items

The following items can not be returned, regardless of the 30 Day window.

  • Custom designed jewelry can not be returned. Jewelry that is custom designed can not be reinventoried or sold to another customer.
  • Engraved Jewelry can not be returned. This includes text, fingerprint and photo engraved jewelry. If the jewelry has been personalized with any type of engraving, it can not be returned. Jewelry that has been engraved with any type of text, fingerprint, photo or other type of engraving can not be placed back into our inventory and offered to another customer.
  • Jewelry that has been filled with any type of remembrance (cremated ashes, hair, dirt from the burial site, etc.) can not be returned. We would not allow a piece of jewelry that has been filled to be offered to another customer.
  • Solid 14K gold jewelry can not be returned. These items are made at the time of order, specifically for that order, and they can not be returned.
  • In stock 14k gold jewelry can be returned, but is subject to a restocking fee. See below for restocking fees.
  • Permanently Sealed Cremation Jewelry can not be returned, as these items are made specifically for the customer at the time of order. This jewelry contains the cremated ashes of a loved one and can not be reinventoried or offered to another customer.
  • Ash Resin Jewelry can not be returned. Any jewelry that has had any sort of cremated ashes placed in it can not be returned.
  • Your product must be returned back to us in re-sellable condition, and include all the accessories (chain, box, filling kit).

 

How to Start a Return

To start a return, please get in touch with us via Phone or Email.

You will be asked to provide the following information when calling or emailing.

  • Full Name
  • Order Number
  • Email Address (if calling)
  • An item that you are returning
  • Reason for return
  • How you would like your return credit applied (credit to original payment method, in store credit, or exchange)

Our team member will discuss your return options with you and issue authorization to return your item. You will then be asked to return your item to our facility to process the return.

FAQ

Why can solid gold jewelry not be returned?

Each piece of solid gold jewelry we offer is uniquely crafted for the customer who orders it. Given solid gold's high cost and rarity, we rarely stock these items. Each solid gold piece is considered a custom order, tailored specifically for you. Consequently, we are unable to accept returns on these bespoke pieces.

When will I receive my refund?

Upon receiving your returned item at our facility, we conduct a thorough inspection. This includes verifying the item's sellable condition and ensuring all accessories (chain, box, filling kit, etc.) are included. Once these checks are complete, we proceed with your refund. Typically, returns are processed within 1-2 days of the item's arrival at our facility.

Who pays for return shipping?

We provide FREE shipping for your initial order. Unless you upgrade your shipping, you should incur no delivery costs (within the United States). However, the cost of return shipping, or sending your item back to us, falls on you, the customer. Please note that we do not offer free return shipping.

Are there any restocking fees for returns?

We offer a very small number of items from other jewelry manufacturers. These manufacturers will accept returns, but they charge a 15% restocking fee to cover payment processing and other associated costs involved with a return.

Most items we offer fall outside this category. When you contact us to initiate a return, we will inform you if the item you purchased has a return restocking fee. At that point, we can discuss other options, such as an exchange.

If I made an error on the engraving for my jewelry, can I return it?

Items that are custom engraved can not be returned. If you made an error on the engraving when making your purchase, please get in touch with us to see if we can help with a resolution. Often, engraving errors can be fixed. If we can fix your engraving, we are happy to do that.
