Add some ashes, a strand or two of their hair or even some dried flower petals from a saved arrangement to the inside and seal using the included adhesive. The front of the pendant can be engraved with a digital image of your choosing, making for a tribute that is twofold. The back of the pendant has a black enamel plating that can be engraved. I ordered a silver heart necklace with letter engravings on the back. I was pleasantly surprised that the backing was actually silver even though it was advertised as black because I read that the black backing made the letters hard to see. The engraving on the front looked exactly like the picture I sent and their customer service was amazing in letting me see a proof before the final was done. If you are looking for a photo engraved pendant this is one of the best looking ones I have seen!
