The unique features of having a textured background means that when the image is engraved onto the textured surface, the image then has the same texture and you can feel the edges and ridges with your fingertip. Any photo that you choose will be cropped according to your specifications and the resulting image engraved onto the white background. We encourage you to add personalized text to the back of the heart shaped pendant to add to the personal nature and the full color pendant includes a matching chain. Size: 1-1/8"w x 1"h

I purchased this as a gift for a friend. Although I asked to see the proof, I did not realize that the image would contain a white background, which cheapens its look in my opinion. I thought that the background would be the actual silver pendant. It was difficult to deduce that from the pics on the site as the backgrounds on those photos almost appear to be silver at first glance. Next time I'll choose the colorless photo instead.

My dog recently passed and I had a full color heart shaped photo engraved pendant made. I requested a proof which was returned promptly for approval. I had a little difficulty in communicating back that I approved the proof and they could proceed with manufacturing. Once they received my message, I received my necklace within a week. It is a beautiful keepsake and I liked personalizing the engraving on the back. I prefer a shorter chain so I may change it but I love my necklace and would buy again.

I have ordered 3 of these pendants. They do a beautiful job. If there is anything in the background they remove it so only your loved ones are on the pendant. This is a beautiful item. Thank you Jewelry Keepsakes.
