The gold plated over stainless steel oval measures over an inch in length and is engraved with a small needle making thousands of small impressions onto the flat surface of the pendant in the exact likeness of your picture. It is beautful and have gotten lots of coments on it. I was so please on how fast it came in. I will be getting another one. The only thing I was not real happy with was haveing someone else on the back that I do not know.
