Wear this Silver Hold Me Close Cremation Cylinder with a small amount of your loved ones cremains tucked inside. The pendant has a caged look as the exterior sterling silver forms a box around the interior glass capsule. The cremains or other remembrance placed inside the Silver Hold Me Close Cylinder are not readily viewable from the exterior of the jewelry but the pendant can give the illusion of something inside. The ring at the top of the Silver Hold Me Close is actually the very top of the bail and this can be twisted off so that you can add the ashes or a different memory to the inside with ease and no hassle. - This keepsake measures 1/4“w x 1“h. The keepsake is measured from the bottom of the pendant to the bottom of the bail.
- Material:
- This keepsake is made of .925 sterling silver.
- Internal Volume:
- This keepsake will hold a “pinch” of cremated remains. A “pinch” is equal to approximately 1/8 of a teaspoon.
- How to fill:
- This keepsake is filled by unscrewing the bail at the top. This exposes the small interior compartment where the remains are laid to rest.

Nice necklace, but chain needs some thoughtfulness
The necklace is pretty and and a great way to remember your loved one. The chain, however, is a pain. I paid for the upgraded chain and it is seriously difficult to put on. I generally have no issues putting my own necklaces on, but this one is very difficult. The small loop that you must catch with the lobster claw clasp is barely bigger than the chain itself. I actually thought it was missing the loop and had broken after I struggled to put it on for ten minutes. But, no...it's meant to be this way. I highly recommend they give consideration to this issue, as it will definitely affect how likely I am to reorder any necklace.

For $99 I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised when my item arrived (and so quickly). It's the perfect way to carry my mom with me every where I go. I elected the free chain with my order (rather than the one for an additional $29) and I'm impressed with that, as well. It's very masculine (for guys who may be concerned with that), yet still classy and a respectful way to display how much the one you lost means to you. Very happy with my order. My father also passed away recently, so I will certainly return to jewelrykeepsakes.com when I'm ready.

Beautiful!
I purchased this pendant for my son who lost his lifelong pet this year. He wanted to be able to view the ashes in the pendant. This cylinder has a clear vial that can be seen between the silver work. He loves it. The black silk cord is perfect for a teenage boy to wear it with. My order was also shipped extremely fast.
